Freight Forwarder – Quotations & Operations Coordinator
Felixstowe, Suffolk £35,000 – £40,000 Full-Time Permanent

We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive Freight Forwarder to handle quotations, imports, exports, and customs clearances. The Role: Experience in freight forwarding, especially with imports/exports and customs
Strong knowledge of sea, air, and road freight operations
Confident preparing quotations and managing shipment costs
Organised, detail-focused, and great at juggling multiple shipments
Excellent communicator and team player Skilled with freight software & MS Office Knowledge of Felixstowe port is a big plus
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing accurate, competitive freight quotations for import/export shipments
Coordinating operations for sea, air, and road freight Managing customs documentation and clearances Acting as the main point of contact for clients – keeping
them updated and happy Handling all shipping paperwork (Bills of Lading,
invoices, packing lists, etc.) Liaising with carriers, hauliers, and third-party
suppliers Troubleshooting delays and resolving operational
issues Staying up to date with the latest Trade and Custom
regulations
