What Youβll Be Doing:
π Overseeing day-to-day management of a diverse HGV and commercial vehicle fleet
ποΈ Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance
π Planning and optimising vehicle schedules, routes, and workloads for maximum efficiency
π§ Managing maintenance, servicing, MOTs, and defect reporting to keep the fleet roadworthy
π₯ Leading and developing a team of drivers and support staff
π» Using fleet management systems to monitor performance, costs, and KPIs
π€ Acting as the main point of contact for operational issues, breakdowns, and incident management
π Producing regular reports on fleet utilisation, costs, and compliance

About You:
π Previous experience managing HGV or commercial vehicle fleets (essential)
π Strong knowledge of transport compliance, fleet legislation, and health & safety requirements
π¬ Excellent organisational and communication skills
π A proactive problem-solver with an eye for detail
π₯οΈ Confident using fleet management and telematics systems
π€ Approachable leader with a solutions-focused, can-do attitude

π CPC qualification or similar transport management certification
