About the Role:
As a Continental Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in managing and controlling daily traffic flows—covering FTL, LTL, groupage, and intermodal movements—between the UK and the EU. You’ll work closely with longstanding, high-value customers, ensuring seamless service and helping to drive growth on this key European route. 🚢✈️
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end operations for FTL, LTL, groupage, and intermodal shipments to/from the EU 🚚
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, acting as the main point of contact 🤝
- Proactively resolve any issues to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries ⏱️
- Support business growth by identifying process improvements and contributing to operational strategy 📈
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures ✔️
About You:
- Previous experience in EU road freight operations (FTL, LTL, groupage, intermodal) is essential 🌐
- Strong knowledge of customs processes and cross-border logistics 📝
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills 🗣️
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment 🧩
- Tech-savvy, with confidence using TMS/CRM systems 💻
