Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:30 (some out-of-hours required)

The Role
We’re seeking a proactive Container Transport Operator to join a busy logistics provider in Stowmarket. You’ll be at the heart of our FCL (Full Container Load) operations, planning and coordinating import deliveries and export collections across the UK. Your day-to-day will be varied, fast-paced, and essential to keeping things moving smoothly for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage import container deliveries and export collections via subcontractors
Input and manage bookings using TOPS transport software
Communicate clearly with drivers, subcontractors, and customers
Handle emails and phone enquiries in a timely, professional manner
Maintain accurate records and up-to-date data entry
Support general operations and account management as needed

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years’ experience in container transport operations
Strong UK geographical knowledge
Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Excellent communicator and natural problem-solver
Highly organised and calm under pressure
Experience with TOPS transport software (ideal, but not essential)
