🛡️ Overseeing all aspects of compliance for logistics and shipping operations
📋 Developing, implementing, and maintaining company policies and procedures in line with industry regulations
✅ Ensuring full compliance with HMRC, customs, health & safety, and transport legislation
🔍 Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and investigations
📚 Delivering training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements and best practices
🗂️ Managing documentation, certifications, and compliance records
🤝 Acting as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external audits
📊 Reporting on compliance status, incidents, and improvements to senior management

 

 

🌟 Previous experience in compliance management within logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding (essential)
📝 Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry regulations (HMRC, customs, health & safety, transport, etc.)
💬 Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
🖥️ Confident with compliance management systems and MS Office
🔍 Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
🤗 Team player with a solutions-focused, can-do attitude

 

 

📑 Relevant compliance, audit, or risk management certifications
🚢 Experience working with both SME and blue-chip logistics clients
