Weβre looking for a proactive Compliance Manager to join a forward-thinking logistics business in Felixstowe!
What Youβll Be Doing:
π‘οΈ Overseeing all aspects of compliance for logistics and shipping operations
π Developing, implementing, and maintaining company policies and procedures in line with industry regulations
β Ensuring full compliance with HMRC, customs, health & safety, and transport legislation
π Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and investigations
π Delivering training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements and best practices
ποΈ Managing documentation, certifications, and compliance records
π€ Acting as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external audits
π Reporting on compliance status, incidents, and improvements to senior management

About You:
π Previous experience in compliance management within logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding (essential)
π Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry regulations (HMRC, customs, health & safety, transport, etc.)
π¬ Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
π₯οΈ Confident with compliance management systems and MS Office
π Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
π€ Team player with a solutions-focused, can-do attitude
π Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry regulations (HMRC, customs, health & safety, transport, etc.)
