Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm in their Basildon branch.

They are looking for a Yard Man, who can also do some Class 1 driving, as well as Valeting of trucks. This job is based in Basildon however occasional travel to other yards in Felixstowe and Norwich may be required.

Daily Duties will include:
–

Drive and operate various types of equipment around the yard
Organise and maintain the yard area, ensuring it is clean and free of hazards

Assist with inventory management, of trailers and units
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:
-Ability to drive and operate equipment safely and efficiently

Good organizational skills to maintain an orderly yard area

Basic math skills for inventory management purposes
Attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and unloading of materials

Holiday is 22 days a year plus Bank holidays
