Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Warehouse Administrator to join their dynamic team. So what does the role look like?
Handling all communication with customers regarding orders, queries, and updates via email or telephone.
Managing transport bookings and coordinating with the transport team to arrange collections and deliveries.
Ensuring that all daily administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Daily routing of orders using the transport management system.
Allocating and releasing orders.
Physically counting and investigating stock queries.
Planning and managing workload to ensure alignment with warehouse operational capacity, avoiding bottlenecks for efficient resource utilisation.
Ensuring operational compliance with all warehouse processes and procedures, adhering to company and industry standards.
Monitoring and documenting any process deviations, reporting them to the relevant departments for corrective action.
So do you have what it takes?
Proven experience in a similar role within logistics.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of Computerised Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Solid understanding of Warehousing and Supply Chain Logistics.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Driven, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.
Team player with the ability to collaborate with internal and external clients.
Detail-oriented, ensuring compliance with operational processes and swiftly addressing discrepancies.
Strong planning and organisational skills to ensure workload balance with operational capacity.
