Our client is a Suffolk based haulier in the Ipswich/Felixstowe area. They are looking for an experienced Transport Operator to join their busy team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a business who invests in its staff and puts money back into its business. We are looking for someone who has previously worked within the container transport industry. Has great communication skills, excellent attention to detail and can make decisions under pressure.

A typical day will involve dealing with drivers, route and drop planning, tracking lorries and rerouting jobs as required.

This is a very varied position, and the person will need to have good communication skills as there is a lot of phone, email, and SMS communications. You will be dealing with owned vehicles and sub-contractors. A CPC operators Licence is desireable but not essential.

We are looking for an Operator who has done this role previously within the container transport industry, who takes pride in their work, is confident dealing with drivers, customers, and fellow staff members.
