Part Time Customs Clearance Clerk
Job Description
Our client is a friendly, privately owned shipping and logistics company in the Felixstowe area, they are looking for a Part Time Customs Clearance Clerk to join their busy office based team. This is a company who really cares about their staff offering a great company pension, generous holiday and training.
This role would suit someone who works well as a team but is also self-motivated, someone who has attention to detail and likes procedures.
To be considered for this role they would like:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a custom clearance role.
A good solid understanding of CNS, Destin8, GOV.UK Applications.
Basic understanding of CDS use of CHIEF in the past is essential.
A day in this job would involve handling Import Customs clearances, road freight, warehousing, speaking with customers amongst other things.
The are looking for someone to work Full time days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.
