As an experienced Generator Technician you will work as part of our busy Diesel generator team to install, service, maintain and repair Diesel generators and related equipment.

Your duties will include:

Installation, service, maintenance and repair of diesel generators and associated equipment.
Attend breakdowns.
Fault finding and diagnosis.
Load bank testing.
Provide 24 Emergency cover on call-out rota (on-call 1 week in every 5)

We will ensure you are equipped with the latest diagnostic software to enable you to provide the customers with the best possible service.

The skills we need from you are

Installation experience and knowledge of common generator control systems would be advantageous
Experienced electrical/mechanical engineering background.
Ideally approved electrician 18th Edition status.
Good diagnostic skills.
Computer literate.

You will need a positive can-do attitude; your working day will be an 8 hour shift Monday to Friday plus emergency call out 1 week every 5, also weekends and overtime are available.
