Our client is a friendly, privately owned shipping and logistics company in the Felixstowe area, they are looking for an Customs Clearance Clerk to join their busy office based team. This role would suit someone who works well as a team but is also self-motivated, someone who has attention to detail and likes procedures.

To be considered for this role they would like:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a custom clearance role.
A good solid understanding of CNS, Destin8, GOV.UK Applications.
Basic understanding of CDS use of CHIEF in the past is essential.

A day in this job would involve handling Import Customs clearances, road freight, warehousing, speaking with customers amongst other things.
