✅ The Role…

We’re recruiting for an experienced Transport Operator / Transport Manager to support day-to-day operations, effectively run trucks, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, compliantly and on time.

🎯 What We’re Looking For…

🚛 Proven experience in transport operations (operator/traffic/planning)

⏱️ Confident managing a busy, time-critical workload and prioritising effectively

💬 Strong communication and people skills (drivers, customers, internal teams)

🧠 Systems confident: comfortable using transport IT systems (TMS/WMS/POD)

🔧 Proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure

🎓 Transport Manager CPC (or working towards) is beneficial

🧾 Key Responsibilities

🚚 Coordinate daily Truck movements and resource planning

🗣️ Brief drivers, monitor live jobs and manage ETAs

💻 Keep transport systems updated (TMS/WMS/POD), ensuring accurate job status and records

📝 Prepare and manage transport paperwork and operational documentation

⚠️ Manage delays, issues and last-minute changes, keeping customers informed

✅ Support driver debriefs and general fleet administration

📋 Maintain compliance and best practice (drivers’ hours, vehicle checks, documentation)
